Krausnick, December 19, 2024 - Today we are celebrating 20 years of Tropical Islands! Since our opening on December 19, 2004, we have grown from a crazy idea to one of the most popular destinations in Europe - with 1.2 million visitors a year.

From vision to success 🌴

What began as a bold vision in 2003 became a reality in just nine months: an abandoned hall was transformed into a tropical oasis with turquoise waters and sandy beaches. Today, we are an important employer for the region with over 500 employees.

Highlights and adventures 🎢

From the first UV film for real sunlight (2005) to the new Double Racer slide (2023): Tropical Islands stands for innovation and fun. Even Hollywood has been a guest - who remembers Tom Cruise?
