Some disabilities, medical conditions or chronic illnesses are not immediately visible to others. For some people, it can be difficult to understand that someone with an ‘invisible’ impairment needs help.
For this reason, people with invisible disabilities can request a sunflower wristband - free of charge on presentation of your disabled pass at the Tropical Islands information desk.
This wristband is a simple tool that allows wearers to voluntarily show that they have a hidden disability. By wearing the sunflower, they let us know that they need extra help, understanding or simply more time.
